Soy milk: the supplement of cow’s milk. However, we should consider some fact before consuming it often.


When people catch cold,, we should not to offer any milk to sick people. Because of most milk is mucous forming. This also include the soy milk or we know it as vegetable milk. Kids under 2 years old are advised not to have any milk (not only cow’s milk but also soy milk), because milk is contain high protein. However now a day, soy milk is promoted for children who have had milk allergies. But please keep in mind that processed soy products is the most mucous forming food on the planet!

 

Some proven in Japan state that soy has goitrogens, which goitrogens are foods which suppress thyroid function. In normals, goitrogens, can induce hypothyroidism and goiter. Soy also has high phytic acid which is the principal storage form of phosphorus and this Phosphorus in this form is generally not bioavailable to non-ruminant animals because they lack the digestive enzyme, phytase, required to separate phosphorus from the phytate molecule. This also not good for health

 

Soy can be called “the meat without a bone”. Traditionally, Tofu is replaces meat in the Orient. The studies show vegetarians who eat tofu substitute the milk and meat, are at risk of mineral deficiencies.

 

Then before consuming only soy products as supplement of meat and dairy products, should be careful abut mineral deficiencies. We should have various kind of food is best way for living.
